I am VCDX 273 and the 18th VCDX-DTM

An 18 month effort came to a close yesterday when I received and email from VMware Education which included the text "Congratulations! You passed! It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the VMware Certified Design Expert community.  Your VCDX number is 273."

I defended my Horizon 7/vSphere 6.0/Nutanix AOS 4.7/Igel/App Volumes/Immidio dual-pod multi-site design on December 13, 2018.

I'd love to say that it was easy, just another day at the office; but far from that.

I submitted my design twice (having it rejected the 1st time) and spent well over a year on what ended up being just short of 200 pages of documentation.

Then I got the email saying it had been accepted and giving me a defense date.

Then began the preparation in earnest for the panel defense.

I want to say thank you to the many (many!) people who helped me with this from the folks who reviewed my documentation (I think I broke one of you), and those who attended my mock defenses, and those who let me attend yours.    I could not have done it without all of you!
